I thought I would document my experience trying out Acquia's instance of Drupal which comes with some extra modules and network support not in a standard installation of Drupal. My initial foray has not been easy as one might hope it to be. I hosted on a Godaddy shared server account and every time I've had an issue I end up going to both Godaddy and to Acquia for support. Sadly I couldn't even get past the admin section of this first attempt without a server error which the Godaddy folks explained as the admin folder not being in the Drupal install. I don't know if this is accurate.
