Testing Facebook Connect Module on Drupal North Carolina

Hi All I decided to give the facebook connect module an install on Drupal North Carolina.

Not quite sure how it will fly with those already registered and who have facebook accounts, you may be able to find and add the application on your face book page using this link.

Then you SHOULD be able to navigate to this website and not have to log in. Though it may try to force you to create a new account. If it does let me know. And you should just be able to refresh the page and be logged in.

Give it try. We'll help iron out the kinks.

Drupal Facebook Connect jacks up AJAX menus

Hi All,

Facebook Connect seems to work and it appears that a few people have joined using it. This is a good thing.

The bad things is that while it is enabled it is not possible to drag and drop blocks and menu items on the admin side. You can chose something to drag but then you can't drop it!

This is still an open bug in the latest beta6 version.

I will try to cope with this bug but you can imagine the headache it causes when trying to layout the site. If it is not fixed in the next week I may have to disable Facebook Connect temporarily.

Hi, The beta7 version that

Hi,

The beta7 version that has just been released, fixes this bug.

Facebook connect updated

Thanks for this heads up!!!!!

Facebook connect has now been updated to the beta7 version.

Hello, It appears you have

Hello, It appears you have not revalidated the parameters of the module when upgrading to beta7.
I got a php warning during registration.

I also got 4 php warnings

I'm also trying our facebook connect on your site, to see how my www.ShababBoston.com site could handle it.
For some reason the whole "invite friends" piece is not working, and I think it has to do with not being able to display the facebook layout.. where did you add the xml line in the template exactly? what if there was another line like it, should it be replaced?

Many thanks.. great site.

6.x-1.0-beta8

Upgraded to 6.x-1.0-beta8. We'll see :)
